Shahi Baoli



The Shahi Baoli was built in the Mughal times and was used as a water reservoir. An interesting story is attached: the reservoir has a secret treasure map and a key. This baoli is most famous as an architectural delight, combining Indo-Islamic designs. The structure was designed by a skilful architect who went by the name Kifayat-Ullah. It was tasked by Nawab Asif-up-doula to serve the famine-stricken population in neighboring areas.
