About Bara Imambara
Built in 1784 by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula, the Bara Imambara is one of the grandest monuments of Lucknow. It houses the famous Bhool Bhulaiya (labyrinth) on its upper floors — a maze of over 1000 narrow passages. The central hall is one of the largest arched constructions in the world without any external support beams.
